Whole-school approaches to developing intercultural understanding: Improving Interculturality in schools through practice and research

Julia is joined by Dr. Robyn Moloney and Dr. Maria Lobytsyna to talk about their research with schools in developing intercultural understanding. 
 
Dr. Robyn Moloney is Honorary Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University, with a background in modern languages teaching and teacher education. Dr. Moloney's research centers on young students' intercultural development and inclusive school cultures. She is also an accomplished author with several books on linguistic and cultural diversity, including an upcoming release in 2024 building on her previous work in intercultural learning.
 
Dr. Maria Lobytsyna is a researcher, teacher, and languages educator, Dr. Lobytsyna is actively involved in both school settings and Macquarie University. Her expertise lies in creative aspects of intercultural learning for students and teachers. Her work includes a comparative study of Australian and Finnish education methods, and she has contributed to projects aimed at developing intercultural skills in diverse Australian classrooms.
